The CD features 8 hymn arrangements I have done of well-known and well-loved hymns.  The 8 hymn arrangements are:

(1) "For the Beauty of the Earth", (2) "Be Still My Soul", (3) "Nearer My God to Thee", (4) "I Stand All Amazed", (5) "Abide With Me", (6) "I Need Thee Every Hour", (7) "More Holiness Give Me", and (8) "If You Could Hie to Kolob" (also known as "I Heard the Voice of Jesus" and "O Sing a Song of Bethlehem".

It is my hope as the arranger of these songs, in collaboration with Music Motivation®, that each of these hymn arrangements will uplift, inspire, comfort, and empower the listeners.  Hymns are magnificent because they help us focus on that which is of most worth to us.  As we listen to the melodies we think of the inspired words of each hymn.  They help us do our best each day and strive to do our part to help those around us.

The order of the songs on the CD (and in the book) has a deliberate order.  As we look at the beauty of this earth, our souls are stilled.  We have imperfections, but we strive to be nearer to God.  By doing so, we stand amazed and ask God to abide with us.  We need Him and His light in our lives because He gives us more holiness.  We hear His voice and come to Him because He loves us and we are His.
